Paul worked on Phantom 2 at Sydmonton in 1997. His book Hocus Pocus (Bloomsbury) featured a preface by his student Daniel Radcliffe and has been published in 11 languages. He received The British Magical Society Award for outstanding contribution to magic and is a Gold Star member of The Inner Magic Circle.
