Mr. Winant most recently co-starred as Pasquale in the NY City Opera production of The Most Happy Fella w/Paul Sorvino and starred on Broadway as Amos Hart in Chicago. Bruce was also featured in the original Broadway casts of Fiddler on the Roof (recent revival w/Alfred Molina, Harvey Fierstein and Rosie O’Donnell), Ragtime, Miss Saigon and My Favorite Year as well as tours of Chicago and Les Misérables. Bruce starred as Al Jolson in the off-Broadway hit, Jolson and Company.
On film, Bruce has been “heard” as several characters in the animated hits, “Robots” and “Ice Age” and seen in “Friends and Family,” “’til There Was You” and “Mighty Aphrodite”.
On TV he co-starred in the TNT mini-series, “Andersonville,” the NBC mini-series, “AD Anno Domini,” was a regular on the short lived NBC series “First Years” and has made guest appearances on “Law and Order” (3 episodes), “The West Wing,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Carnivale,” “thirtysomething,” “My So-Called Life,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation” among others.
