Rebecca trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
Before Central, she began her career performing with the National Youth Music Theatre, creating the role of Guinevere in the award-winning Pendragon. This took her from the Edinburgh Fringe to an international tour, including Hong Kong and Taipai, before a short run at the City Centre Theatre on Broadway.She left drama school early to play Bertrande de Rols in the original production of Martin Guerre (Prince Edward).
Other West End theatre includes: Mary Poppins on countless occasions in Mary Poppins (Prince Edward), Jellylorum in Cats (New London) and, most recently, Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut in Avenue Q (Noël Coward).
Other theatre includes: Joan Aldrin in Moonlanding (Derby Playhouse), Nora in The Pirates of Penzance (West Yorkshire Playhouse and Bath Theatre Royal), principal soloist in Oh What a Lovely War (NT), Anna in the European premiere of After the Fair (King’s Head), creating the role of Sophie in Mamma Mia! (original workshop), Franziska in Charlotte Salomon’s Life? or Theatre? (Soho Studio), principal soloist in Dorothy Fields Forever (Jermyn Street and King’s Head), Gilda in Alfie (Watford Palace) and guest soloist in the 30th anniversary gala performance of Side by Side by Sondheim (Novello).
Film and television include: Bridget Jones’s Diary (Working Title) and many commercials.
