On 1 and 2 October 2011, The Phantom of the Opera celebrated 25 years in London’s West End with a series of Anniversary performances at the Royal Albert Hall.

In this exclusive video clip, we go behind-the-scenes at the Royal Albert Hall as composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, producer Cameron Mackintosh, choreographer Gillian Lynne and Sierra Boggess (Christine) and Ramin Karimloo (The Phantom) prepared for the final 25th Anniversary performance on Sunday 2nd October 2011, which was also screened live to cinemas around the world.

In the video clip, Andrew visits Sierra and Ramin in their dressing rooms before the show. After the performance – which included a suitably fabulous Phantom finale – we also see members of the Cast and Creative Team leaving the stage after the performance, and get a little glimpse of the crowd waiting for them outside the Stage Door…
