Training: Young Artist of the Opéra National de Paris, France; Post-Graduate Diploma in Advanced Vocal Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, UK; Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Bachelor of Arts Degree at the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand

Theatre: Andrea has sung principle roles for many international companies including: Opéra National de Paris; New Zealand Opera; Opéra de Bordeaux; Opéra de Tours; Opéra de Nantes; Iford Festival UK; Festival d’Aix en Provence; Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing and the NZ International Festival of the Arts;
Roles performed include: Countess, Susanna, Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro; Fiordiligi, Despina in Così fan Tutte; Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia; Antonia/Stella in Les Contes d’Hoffman; Norina in Don Pasquale; Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore; Frasquita in Carmen; Première Prêtresse/Diana in Iphigénie en Tauride; Flowermaiden in Parsifal; Anna in Die Sieben Todsünden; Anna in Nabucco; Infantin/Maid Der Zwerg; Ellen in Lakmé; Elisabeth 1st in Roberto Deveraux and Mabel in the Pirates of Penzance.

Andrea returned from Europe to sing Carlotta in the 2007-2009 Australasian/Asian tour of The Phantom of the Opera.
Andrea’s concert and recital work has seen engagements with the Vector Wellington Orchestra, the Auckland Philharmonia, the Auckland Chamber Orchestra, l’Orchèstre National de Paris, l’Orchèstre Radio France, Les Musiciens de Louvre, the Orchèstre National de Lyon; the English Camerata Orchestra and the Hallé Orchestra.

Film and Television: Andrea has appeared on television in the Good Morning Show TVNZ, ABC Australia, the Breakfast Show TVNZ, Sunrise TV3 and a 20 minute feature documentary on the Sunday Arts Programme TVNZ.

Other: Winner of the New Zealand Mobil Song Quest; the Webster Booth/Esso Award UK; Countess of Munster Scholarship; Peter Moores Scholarship – Andrea has also been mentored by the Singers Development Foundation, New York and won the Opera Prize of the Cercle Carpeaux de Paris. In her final year as a Young Artist of the Paris Opera, Andrea was awarded the prestigious Prix d’A.R.O.P for an outstanding debut performance.
